The Automotive Components & Accessories Division (ACAD) have a Support Centre which oversees and steers the operations of four divisions currently encompassing eight business units.  It is expected that ACAD will continue to expand organically and through accretive acquisitions.

 

The Position

Reporting to the General Manager, the Commercial and Finance Manager will play an integral part of the Senior Management Team and shape the future of the business.  

Due to an internal promotion, an opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified, experienced Commercial and Finance Manager to join the Senior Management Team and lead the administration team.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly financial reports including balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage the administration team who are accountable to:
    • Management of accounts receivable and commercial risk in line with company policy
    • Management of accounts payable in line with company defined schedules of authority and payment guideline
    • Preparation and processing of weekly payroll
    • Purchase of raw materials and consumables
    • Processing of daily time and activity paperwork and preparation of production productivity reports
    • Cashflow reporting
    • Ensure lodgment and compliance with all State and Federal reporting requirements
    • Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reporting requirements to internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain the financial reporting system
  • Facilitate bi-annual audit, ensuring timely provision of all necessary reports and information
  • Manage IT needs of the business
  • Continuous improvement of business systems and processes

 

Selection Criteria

  • Experience in a similar manufacturing environment (essential)
  • Self-motivated, high performing individual who is a self-starter (essential)
  • Proven time management skills and experience in an evolving environment (essential)
  • Advanced Excel skills and an excellent understanding of financial reporting systems (essential)
  • Experience using Microsoft Access (highly desirable)
  • Proven ability to implement change to improve systems and processes (essential)
  • Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels (essential)
 

Remuneration

A remuneration package commensurate with the responsibility of the position.
